My name is Audrey Hall, and I am a senior at Kennesaw State University, pursuing a degree in marketing and a minor in dance. I was born in St. Charles, Illinois but have lived in Georgia for most of my life. My family moved to Marietta when I was eight years old after discovering one of Georgia’s best-kept secrets: Sweat Mountain. The mountainous views and beautiful scenery were a welcomed change from the flat cornfields of Illinois. Ever since moving here, I have been overwhelmed with the beautiful and unique places that make Georgia such a wonderful place to call home and an even better place to explore. Before attending KSU, I went to a private school in Marietta called The Walker School. I credit the wonderful faculty and my family for instilling my love for the arts and helping me develop my artistic abilities. Although I had a scholarship to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design, I chose Kennesaw State because of its dance department. Doing so gave me the opportunity to perform in the KSU Dance Company while completing my minor in dance. I am always looking for ways to use my creativity, and I hope this blog will be a reflection of that. I look forward to exploring more of Georgia with all of you!
